The membership of the Daughters of ’98, Auxiliary of the United Spanish War Veterans, (Daughters of Spanish American War Veterans) is composed of daughters, granddaughters, great-granddaughters, legally adopted daughters, stepdaughters, foster daughters, daughters in law, granddaughters in law, nieces, grandnieces, and cousins of anyone eligible for membership in the United Spanish War Veterans as heritage members and any ladies interested in the history of the era as associate members. Both categories have full voting privileges.
